The dates every Irish fleet has to keep
Each one is a vehicle document or a driver date with an expiry. Enter it once in 4fleet and the app lists it before it lapses.
Vehicle insurance
Every vehicle on a public road needs valid insurance. Enter the policy expiry date for each car and van, so the renewal is not missed.
Driving licence checks
Driving licences have an expiry date. Record it for every driver who takes a company vehicle, so you can see when each one needs checking.
Leasing and finance
Leasing rates and finance agreements run for a fixed term. Record the end date of each agreement against the vehicle it covers.
Tyres and servicing
Record each tyre change and each service with its date and mileage, so you can see when every vehicle was last looked after.
Other documents
Any other document with an expiry date, for a vehicle or a driver, can be entered as a dated document and appears in the same alert list.
How it works
Add your vehicles and drivers
Enter the registration, make, model, year and mileage, then assign each vehicle to a driver and record the driver licence expiry date.
Capture the dates
Add the insurance, leasing and other document expiry dates for each vehicle, and the licence dates for each driver. Upcoming expiries appear in the in-app alert list.
Log the running costs
Record fuel receipts, garage invoices line by line and parts. 4fleet shows the costs per vehicle, so you can see which vans cost the most.
What 4fleet does — and what it does not
What it does today
- Keeps one register of vehicles and drivers, with insurance, leasing, licence and other document dates.
- Shows upcoming expiries in the in-app alert list, before each due date you set.
- Records servicing, repairs, fuel and other costs, and shows them per vehicle.
What it does not do
- No GPS tracking or telematics — it does not show where a vehicle is.
- Reminders are shown only inside the app: no e-mails, no text messages, no WhatsApp.
- No link to the NCT centres, Revenue, insurers or any other government system — you enter the dates yourself.

Questions from Irish fleet managers
How will I know an insurance or licence renewal is coming up?
Enter each expiry date on the vehicle or driver record. Upcoming expiries are listed in the in-app alert list, starting from the reminder window you set. 4fleet does not send e-mails or texts.
We already use a telematics system. Do we still need 4fleet?
Telematics tells you where a vehicle is and how it is driven. 4fleet keeps the paperwork and the costs. It does not connect to or import from any telematics provider, so you enter the dates yourself.
Why are the prices in euro?
4fleet prices every plan in euro, so the plan prices are shown in EUR per month. Your bank or card provider handles the payment in the currency you use.
Do we have to install anything?
No. 4fleet runs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone. You sign up, add your first vehicle and start working.
Can we track insurance and other expiry dates for pool vans as well as company cars?
Yes. Every company car and pool van has its own record with its own expiry dates, and all of them appear together in the alert list.
What is the quickest way to get started?
Create an account, add a few vehicles with their registrations and mileage, enter their insurance and other expiry dates and assign drivers. Add fuel receipts and garage invoices as they come in.
